He has modernized traditional training with a mix of Eastern and Western methods, documenting every technique and skill into a curriculum that preserves the lineage.

Sifu Joseph Sing Cheung, MA, BA

Sifu Peter Koo was born in Chinatown, New York City in 1966. His interest in martial arts began early, shaped by his two older brothers who studied Kung Fu and Karate. His mother was born in Canton, China, where her father and uncles practiced Kung Fu. Those family connections, along with Bruce Lee's martial arts movies, inspired him to begin his own training.
In 1975, his family moved to Flushing, Queens, where he went on to train in Karate, Taekwondo, Iaido, and Kendo.
In 1998, a friend introduced him to Sifu Allan Lee, who studied under Yip Man in Hong Kong as a private disciple. Drawn to Wing Chun's power, simplicity, and practicality, he began training with Sifu Allan Lee that year and continued until Sifu Lee's passing in 2016.
With the blessing of Sifu Allan Lee, Sifu Peter founded Long Island Wing Chun in 2012. His teaching focuses on practical applications and self-defense, helping students understand how to apply Wing Chun techniques.
Sifu Koo is excited to return to Chinatown, New York City, where he was born, to teach Wing Chun Kung Fu.
Sifu Vincent Mei 梅耀中
Li Shu-Wen, Liu Yun-Qiao Wu Tan Lineage Bajiquan
Sifu Vincent Mei began his martial arts journey in high school studying Muay Thai. His path into Traditional Chinese Martial Arts (TCMA) started during college, introduced by his classmate, Paul Yang. This eventually led him to Wu Tan New Jersey, where he met Master Chen Chang-Lin and became his third indoor disciple, training in the powerful lineage of Li Shu-Wen → Liu Yun-Qiao → Chen Chang-Lin.
After Master Chen’s untimely passing in 2005, Shifu Vincent took on the responsibility of preserving his teacher’s legacy. He continued teaching Bajiquan, Pigua Zhang, and Baguazhang under the Wu Tan New Jersey banner in Lower Manhattan, staying true to the integrity of the system.
During the 2020 pandemic lockdown, Shifu Vincent founded BajiShu, a remote training platform that allowed global students to study Bajiquan online through a structured and effective system. In just two years, BajiShu expanded to 14 cohorts with over 200 dedicated students worldwide, all learning through a modern yet faithful approach to traditional training.
Seeing the potential of technology to preserve entire systems of knowledge, Shifu Vincent founded Tsáng Wǔ Gé, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting and safeguarding Chinese Martial Culture. Under Tsáng Wǔ Gé, the “Shús” represent martial arts academies, while the “Tángs” offer non-combative traditional studies such as Chinese medicine, philosophies, strategies, culinary arts, and internal cultivation methods.
In 2025, Tsáng Wǔ Gé launched Vault25 New York, a landmark martial arts summit that brought together six masters across five styles in a single, immersive seminar — a true celebration of TCMA excellence.
Sifu Vincent now leads a brilliant team of students and professionals, united by a mission to share these ancient knowledge with the modern world — offering meaningful paths to growth, health, and personal transformation.
